Supervise crews that are engaged in water utility maintenance by supervising personnel, monitoring project work, maintaining equipment and completing administrative duties. This key member of the Water/Distribution team shall exhibit great team work concepts and a sincere customer service attitude. Scheduled for on-call pager rotation in response to emergencies.
Requires: High school diploma or GED and four (4) four years up to and including six years supervising crews responsible for maintenance and repairs of waterlines and wastewater lines. Experienced in the operation of excavating equipment.
Must possess a valid Texas Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement.Class C Water Distribution License or Class II Wastewater Collections License and ability to obtain the other license having both licenses within six month of employment.
Flush truck and backhoe operations experience preferred.
May be subject to on call duty, must be able to respond within 45 minutes to an on-call/emergency call back and work in adverse weather conditions.
Salary Range: $15.97 - $25.55/hr DOQ
