This position is a grant funded position that will participate in the overseeing and administration of the Victim Services Program. This is accomplished by counseling and providing personal advocacy; providing victim outreach; assisting victims in filing for Texas Crime Victims' Compensation and performing grant management. Other duties include overseeing database management and interacting with other City employees and citizens, and supervising volunteers, seasonal employees and interns.
Requires: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and (2) two years related experience. Prefer Master's degree in a relevant field. Licensure in counseling license (LMSW, LPC, LCSW) & bilingual is preferred.
Possession of a valid Texas driver's and must be able to pass drug screen, polygraph, psychological and background investigation.
Must be able to work shift work (evening, nights, weekends and holidays).
Salary: $45,929 - $73,485 DOQ
