Jobing Description

The city of Grand Prairie Marketing and Communications Department seeks a 20-hour-a-week intern:

* Position Requires: Enrolled in a college or university, or recently graduated, studying marketing, public relations, advertising, web design and/or graphic arts

* Responsible for news writing, brochure production, flier/poster creation, photography, website updates, event planning, event promotion, social media

* Ability to work with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on a MAC

This position is 20 hours a week Mon-Fri between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Pay Range: $9.00 per hour

Closing Date: January 18, 2013
