Jobing Description

PLEASE NOTE THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LOCATION THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ON YOUR APPLICATION

Responsible for providing assistance to children crossing streets, walking to and from school.  Duties include holding a sign and blowing a whistle to control traffic and escorting elementary children safely across various streets and intersections.  Duties will require working outdoors under a variety of weather conditions.

Assignment location may vary.

Employee must be able to work a maximum of 3 hours daily. 

Must be able to walk and stand for 1 ½ hours in the morning and 1 ½ hours in the afternoon.  Schedules will occasionally vary to accommodate early dismissal days and school holidays.

Starting Pay Rate:  $9.00/hour

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older

Must have access to reliable transportation

Must have the ability to communicate in English

Must have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license or Identification Card and valid automobile insurance.

Applicant must pass a drug test, criminal history background check and social security number verification check.
