Jobing Description

The purpose of this position is to plan, produce, supervise and evaluate programs and activities.  This is accomplished by planning and producing various activities, supervising staff, and interacting with the public and participants. 

Other duties include monitoring the budget, designing and preparing center publications and critiquing events.

Pay Range:  $42,426 - $50,000 annually DOQ

Skills / Requirements

Requires an Associates Degree or two years of college with major course work in leisure services, park administration or a related field. Must have over two years experience working in a recreation center setting with supervisory responsibilities experience preferred.

Experience in special events, assising in downtown events, developing partnerships and being a liaison with departments and numerous organizations is expected.

A valid Texas Class C driver's license required.
