Jobing Description
The City of Grand Prairie is looking for Equipment Operators in the Asphalt Crew, Concrete Crew and Drainage Crew.
The Equipment Operator ensures the proper finish and removal of concrete or asphalt for the City by finishing concrete/asphalt, preparing for pouring concrete/asphalt, and removing concrete/asphalt. Other duties include using heavy machinery,performing preventative maintenance on equipment and interacting with other City employees and citizens.
A high school diploma or GED and one year of equipment operator related experience is required.
A valid Texas Class A CDL driver's license is required.
Starting Rate: $12.53/hour
Closing Date: 10/30/2012
